Conducted by Leonard Bernstein, THE BERLIN CELEBRATION CONCERT is an historic performance marking the fall of the Berlin Wall. It was a very, very amazing performance (Open-Air-Concert at the beautiful „Zitadelle Spandau" in Berlin, 20. Juni 2014). I was very impressed of Lana's charming way to laugh and talk with the audience. She sang very well and complex. Her band played at the same time sensitive and powerful. It was short (70 minutes) but unforgettable. Please enjoy these extracts from the concert.
Zica was busking and looping in Berlin, with his Beatbox, Drum & Bass, Rap and Reggae freestyle street show, when the Berlin Locals joined in with the performance with some freestyle Rap and Dance of their own. A real 'must see' happy video! It gets a little windy at the end. Filmed at the Alexanderplatz by UncleEvey

Welcome to Berlin, the capital city of Germany. The first documentation of Berlin appears in the 13th century, and it has a long history of importance—it’s been the capital of the Margraviate of Brandenburg and the Kingdom of Prussia, among others. The lengthy history encompassing the city often manifests in its eclectic collection of architecture, which you should certainly include on your Berlin tour. From the towering classical lines of Charlottenburg Palace, built for the Hohenzollern family in the 17th century, to the sleek mirrored sides of the Bahn Tower, you’re bound to find plenty to look at in the city’s downtown area. Fancy a real German lager? Stop by Prater Garten for a brew—built in 1837, it’s one of the handful of buildings that has survived both World Wars. You can sit ou...

My Berlin travel guide includes 28 secrets, things to do and best places to visit which I carefully selected for this Christmas adventure in Germany. You won't believe number #23 which is a must-see attraction. The first thing you have to remember about Berlin is that it has 2 main city centers in West and East Berlin, primarily the cause of the aftermath of World War 2. I took my family to Berlin - Germany for Christmas to visit its amazing Christmas markets and local events. Berlin is definitely a gem of city but it has its flaws, it could have been the time of the year, Christmas shopping, new year's stress, we basically had a very bad experience with the local service, primarily at restaurants, they seemed to not give a damn about hospitality. Service was overall very sloppy, unpolit...

Travel video about destination Berlin in Germany. Berlin is Germany's modern capital city, a fascinating European metropolis with a dramatic history in which contemporary architecture merges with the imposing character of a centuries-old city. The Nokolai Quarter was built by the DDR government as a sort of old town, a European Disneyland for the city's 750th anniversary, a popular area with 'new' medieval buildings that display various guilds and stone statues that surround the city's oldest church. We travel to nearby Potsdam, a city of castles and gardens and with an old town that features a lively market atmosphere. When the monarchy settled there, so did their armies and with them came craftsmen, merchants and artists from many countries. The castle-like Nauener Tor leads to the Rus...
